Two Illinois fire departments spent the night rescuing a dog trapped in a well. According to the Prairie Town Fire Department’s Facebook page, the dog Rico was innocently snooping on his neighbor’s yard when he accidentally fell 40 feet into a narrow well. He responded immediately and used a pulley system and special training to save his four-legged friend. They also got help from a nearby fire department, according to a Facebook post. “This would have been a different story without you,” the Prairie Town Fire Department added, adding that Rico had returned to a safe and uninjured home. “Rico was fine and I was happy to meet everyone when she was released!”
